Codebrace, INC ("We", "Our" or "Us") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This "Privacy Policy" explains what information we gather from our users and how we use it.
  1. WEB BROWSER COOKIES:

    We may use both session cookies and Persistent cookies to help you log in faster, enhance your navigation through the site, understand how users interact with our services, to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on our services, and to improve our services.   2. PUBLIC PROFILE AND YOUR CONTENT ON CODEBRACE:

    Certain portions of the information you provide to us may also be displayed in your Profile. As an essential element of the Services your name, profile picture, contents, username and other SNS account that you've linked to your Account will be publicly displayed. By default, your Profile is for public viewing.
    If you post any content not set as private on the Site (such as a comments section or your code snippets on Codebrace Editor), we will collect the content of your post and it will be made publicly available on the site in connection with your name/username and profile picture. We may display this content on the Site and further distribute it to a wider audience through the service. The Public contents (the default setting) are visible to anyone by default, whether or not they have a Codebrace account. Once displayed on publicly viewable web pages, that information can be collected and used by others. We cannot control who reads your postings or what other users may do with the information in your Profile. Your public posts and contents are automatically licensed under the MIT license. This license does not apply to your private account information or private content. The contents set as private remain unshared and private to other users except between you and your colleagues/partners until you decide to share them with specific users or anyone with the link or others.

  3. HOW WE USE AND SHARE PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION:

    Codebrace respects your privacy and does not rent, sell, or share any private and personally identifiable information (email Id, contact details, home and business address etc.) from your account with other people, affiliated/non-affiliated companies or third parties except to provide services you've requested. We do not misuse these information and also limit their access to employees or other internal staffs. We use demographic information - City, State and Country but not Email Id, contact information or any other personal or private information - from your account to provide personalized service to you.
    We also use tools like Google Analytics to measure traffic to our site and how users interact with our site. At various times, we may use other tools to measure the efficacy of our marketing campaigns. The Google Analytics terms specify that no personally identifiable information may be collected through the Google Analytics software.

    Information collected during the use of the Editor is part of the service provided to you by Codebrace and solely for the functionality of the service. We use the information collected for the following purposes:

    1. To operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service,
    2. To fulfil requests you may make to us

    We will only retain these information for the fulfilment of those purposes.

  4. YOUR CODEBRACE ACCOUNT INFO:

    Your email address, payment information, domain name, IP address, address and other personal or private account data we collect when you register, sign in, sign up or visit our site will never be sold or distributed to third parties except as required to provide you service. Your email address will be used to notify you of critical updates or announcements. It may also be used to send you regular updates about your account activity and news at Codebrace. You can opt out of these emails if you like.

  5. PAYMENTS AND DONATIONS:

    Your name, billing address, payment verification and other payment related information will be used to process and collect your donation or payment. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to process payments complete an order - those necessary outside parties include the payment processor we use ("e.g. PayPal, credit card companies, etc."). All payment verification information is transmitted using SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY:

Codebrace may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes by sending a notice to the registered email address specified in your account.
